13.10.2013 - The conference takes place from 14th to 17th of October 2013!!!!
The 6th ISA Conference takes place from the 14th to the 17th of October 2013 in Potsdam / Germany. The welcome reception is already open on sunday, the 13th at Hotel Mercure Postdam. For more details see the final program, available under the link below. It also contains all information about the lecture program, poster sessions, opening ceremony, excursions on 17th and 18th of October and all related events. 257 participants from 29 countries are registered for 28 poster presentations and 44 oral presentations. Furthermore there will be 8 exhibitors during the complementary special fair. We wish all participants a pleasant stay and a successfull congress!!!

15.06.2013 - Detailled information about the conference tours
Dear colleagues, dear SBT friends,
we are happy to send further information on the ISA conference 2013, that will be held in October in Potsdam.
As we already announced in the first circular we will offer conference tours.
Technical tours are part of the conference and will take place on Thursday, the 17th of October 2013. There are 2 options participants can choose from.
Participation is included in the conference fee.

Option 1

*Seabuckthorn breading and cultivation**- 17.10.2013*
including visits to:

federal office of brands and varieties (a collection of different collections of registered brands)
plantation in Quellendorf / new harvesting technology developed there

return time to Potsdam at about 8 p.m.

Option 2

*Seabuckthorn processing **- 17.10.2013*
including visits to:

Seabuckthorn juice and beverage production at Hohenseefeld and Dabendorf
Seabuckthorn processing (Oil, juice and other products) in a new build processing plant in Herzberg

return time to Potsdam at about 8 p.m.

We also offer after conference tours on Friday, the 18th of October. Participants can buy tickets for these tours and, since several arrangements have to be done, we propose to pre -reserve as soon as possible.

sent to the organizing committee. I'd like to inform you about the

Actually we have about 40 participants that early registered and I'm
sure that we will be more soon.

We have been asked about accommodation in Potsdam. The organizing
committee made a pre-reservation in some not so expensive hotels and
hostels. In separate mail we will spread the addresses and mail
contacts. As we do not register you for accommodation I like to ask
everybody to take advantage of the pre-registration. See our next mail.

For those who like to present products and services. Our exhibition

Our participants will get granted free access to the garden (including audio guides) - a must see for everybody.
