EuroWorkS Three in Naantali - it took place successfully
EuroWorkS III in Naantali / Finland took place successfully from 14th to 16th of october 2014. The main theme was "Producing Quality Sea Buckthorn". First presentation and lecture pdf's are available under the following link:
Online registration for the third EuroWorkS in Naantali, Finland ist available now.
The conference takes place from 14th to 16th of October 2014 nearby Turku.

The guiding theme of the meeting is: Producing Quality Sea Buckthorn.

We would like to inform that the upcoming **EuroWorkS 2014 ** will take place in Finland.
The confirmed date of the conference is 14.10.2014 - 16.10.2014.
EuroWorkS 2014 will be held in Naantali - this is situated not far away from Turku.
Sanna Kauppinen is managing the conference. The first circular has been published on the 11th of March and is available under the following link. Online registration will be launched by April this year at this website.
So, please, everybody - keep some free space in your timetables in October.

The 2nd European Workshop on Seabuckthorn -EuroWorkS - took place successfully from 18. - 19.10.2012 in Vilnius, Lithuania!!!
First presentations have been submitted and are available for download as well as pictures of the workshop - just click on the logo to the right.....
The German Society for Seabuckthorn and Wild Fruits, Berlin and The Lithuanian Society of Seabuckhorn Growers, Vilnius, were proud and happy to invite all scientists, entrepreneurs and all people who are interested in research and knowledge about seabuckthorn for the 2nd European Workshop on Seabuckthorn - EuroWorkS 2012, taking place in Vilnius, Lithuana.

The scientific program, containing lectures and excursions, has been published and is available under the following link (pdf-file). About 60 participants from all over Europe are expected to appear for the workshop. For all those who are "late-decided" - its still possible to "join the party" and register online or at the conference desk.

Some more detailled information about the Vilnius program has been published by the organizers recently. About 90 specialists from all over Europe are expected to take part in the workshop. At the moment there are registrations from Estonia, Lithuania, Russia, Germany, Great Britain and Belorussia.15 lectures are confirmed by the scientific commitee so far. The social program will include a conference dinner in Vilnius and a guided tour to the former capital Kaunas. Find more information, especially about the workshop venue, in the second circular:

Mr Radzevisius from the organizing committee informed that there will be an opportunity for a small product fair. If someone is interested, feel free to contact Gedimias Radzevisius (gedirad@Yahoo.de ).

Vilnius can be reached by plane, but the list of flights to this destination is limited. In case there are no more flights available we can recommend an alternative way to Vilnius. Book your flight to Riga and take the bus (from central bus station in Riga <http://www.luxexpress.eu/en>- about 16 €)

There will be a limited number of grants for colleagues from eastern countries available to support their participation. To apply, please, contact our societies office.
